5 Health Tips for quick implementation!

Feeling Lost when it comes to maintaining your health! Do you feel like you do not have the time to sit down and really start to analyze and search which health and wellness strategies you should implement! Well look no further.

TIP # 1:

HYDRATION

Your brain is 75% water and your whole body is 60% water -that is more than half. Then why is it a struggle for us to intake the daily recommended amount of water? Well, a helpful tip is to flavor your water. A simple way is to juice and freeze your add-ons in an ice cube making it fast and convenient to flavor and most likely want to drink your liquids! To do this, I like ice trays that yields fuller ice cubes and that are covered – so they don’t smell like the other things I got going on in my fridge!

TIP # 2:

GOOD FATS

Miseducation has told us to stay away from all fats. But not all fats are bad. Good fats consists of unsaturated fats both mono/polyunsaturated fats. Examples of good fats are vegetable oils such as olive oil, nuts, seeds, and fatty fish. Foods high in fats keeps you full and satisfied.

And of course the ever so popular, Avocado. I love my avocados in Avocado toast with tomatoes, arugula and a drizzle of balsamic oil. And if you really want to take it over the top with healthy fats, add smoked salmon! Now I know as a newbie to avocados I saw it as a nuisance as I would not eat an avocado in one meal. But then I found an avocado saver that I want to share with you. It helped me preserve my avocado shape and freshness for the next day.

TIP # 3:

GUT HEALTH

Signs of an unhealthy gut are feeling sluggish, bloated and constipated. Eating a diet high in processed foods and added sugars can impede a healthy gut. One thing that was easy for me to implement is taking a powdered tea every morning. I am a tea enthusiast and drinker and so I enjoy it hot or cold. I recommend using Total Life changes tea. This has helped me eliminate when I fell bloated and constipated especially on days that I have not followed a healthy diet regimen.

I like the plain tea but they have other flavors like fruit punch!!

TIP # 4:

VITAMINS

There are 13 essential vitamins consisting of vitamin A, D, C, E, K and B vitamins. Each vitamin does a specific function. Luckily nowadays there are so many options we have in addition to healthy eating to get the essential vitamins our body needs. If you need a little help you have standard pills, liquid and NOW THERE ARE PATCHES. What, my fiend you may ask??!! Yes, taking vitamins transdermally is now possible. The benefits of transdermal route is that absorption of vitamins is through the skin, bypass the digestive route and go directly in the bloodstream. Again, it’s the convenience for me!!

You can wear multiple patches of different vitamins and supplement from multivitamins, specific vitamins like Iron plus or Vitamin B plus, or vitamins to help support your menstruation cycle! Check them out, Patch Aid!

TIP # 5:

COLLAGEN

Collagen?! You. May be thinking. But yes, collagen has some benefits worthwhile including in your daily health and wellness routing, Do you know that there are 5 different types of Collagen sources. And an all comprehensive one is the best, one that includes types I-V. I am a big proponent not of you do what ever you need to do to get into a healthy habit and for me that is including a liquid collagen because adding another pill to swallow will make be GAG!

Now when considering liquid collagen I also consider taste and while there are many liquid collagen out there when it comes to take, Spoiled Child is my fav!
